This Saturday is World Fair Trade Day, and the Steep Hill Food Co-op plans to host a coffee and tea tasting from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in partnership with the Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation. Other events this weekend include live music and dance performances and a film screening.

1 — Celebrate Ukraine with Shumka dancers
Ukrainian dancers from Shumka celebrate Ukrainian culture through dance with their 60th anniversary tour. The show will feature two new works, a tribute to the past with older works, a dance tribute to the conflict in Ukraine and a presentation of the film Promised Land, which celebrates the 130th anniversary of Ukrainian immigration to Canada. 2 — See the SJO in person or online
The Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra performs The Fab Four and More: Beatles for Big Band Friday at the Broadway Theater at 7:30 p.m. Guest conductors Ray Baril and Stacey Mortenson-Spokes and guest vocalist and guitarist Robert Walsh join the SJO as they present a mix of classic and reimagined Beatles songs. 3 — Watch the Philharmonic Orchestra
The Saskatoon Philharmonic Orchestra presents its spring concert, Back at Last! The orchestra’s first concert in more than two years will feature a mixed repertoire, featuring classical works, country, Broadway and film scores. They will be joined by fiddler and fiddler artist Kim de Laforest for a set of fiddle tunes from the Canadian Maritimes. 4 — Attend a dance film screening

Free Flow Dance Theater presents a cinematic screening of a dance film featuring the work and story of dancer and choreographer Danny Grossman, who has choreographed works inspired by social and political issues for 45 years. 5 — Listen to chamber singers
The Saskatoon Chamber Singers perform Tanzen und Singen (dance and song) at Knox United Church at 2 p.m. Sunday.
