The first concert at the FirstBank Amphitheater in rural Williamson County is no shortage of Nashville star power.

The venue opens on August 3 for an overnight concert to benefit Feeding Nashville, a nonprofit fighting food insecurity launched in 2020 by Taylin Lewan, wife of Tennessee Titans tackle Taylor Lewan, and Hayley. Hubbard, wife of Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line.

Called “Together: Feeding Nashville,” the lineup features half a dozen successful country actors:

  • Maren Morris
  • Russell dickerson
  • Lauren Alaina

Tayin Lewan and Hayley Hubbard launched Feeding Nashville last April to help provide meals for those in Middle Tennessee struggling with food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Feeding Nashville used local chefs affected by closed dining rooms to prepare healthy dishes for the program.

Since its inception, the program has delivered 70,858 meals, according to a press release. Hayley Hubbard and Taylin Lewan started Feeding Nashville with the intention of running the program for about three months – but they “realized there was so much greater need after that,” said Hayley Hubbard.

“No matter the pandemic, no matter if there is a tornado, we want to feed people,” Hayley Hubbard told the Tennessean.

The need for meals remained high as pandemic restrictions began to ease, making a benefit concert a natural move for Nashville couples.

Pro Bowl lineman Taylor Lewan may not make an appearance in person – the Titans ‘training camp kicks off later this month – but his Barstool Sports podcast “Bussin’ With The Boys” is sponsoring the next one. show.

“We use the lifestyles that we have, with Taylor and his podcast,” Taylin Lewan said. “Tyler and his friends stepped in and said, ‘We’re going to sing. “Now we can entertain people for the best cause Hayley and I could suggest.”

Taylor Lewan later added, “It’s a very cool thing to watch, especially when you make friends with these people and are going to celebrate them and their talent.”

The artists jumped at the chance to help, Tyler Hubbard said, and members of the audience might see a few surprise guests appear during the concert.

“All of these artists involved, and a lot of artists in our community, are great people with big hearts and jump at the chance to do what we love for a bigger cause,” said Tyler Hubbard.

Following? A celebrity football game, they joked.

“Country musicians versus athletes,” Taylin Lewan joked, “let’s see how it goes.”
