While we wait “The boys” Season 3 this summer, the show’s universe will expand even further with a college spinoff, and we have casting news today.
Amazon Studios’ live-action spinoff series is set in America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International).
Deadline reports that Patrick Schwarzenegger (the staircase), Sean PatrickThomas (Macbeth’s Tragedy) and Marco PigosI (invisible city) have joined the cast of the series.
Patrick Schwarzenegger was recently seen in the horror movie Daniel is not real.
Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann and Shelley Conn are previously announced series regulars.
Amazon promises the untitled spin-off will be “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonally competitive Supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part hunger games— with all the heart, satire and raunch of The boys.”
Michele Fazekas and Tara butters are the showrunners of the untitled series.
Producers include Eric Kripke, Seth Rogenand Evan Goldberg.
