For most years, the start of October means outdoor venues in the metro area have been closed for another off season.

But that’s not most years.

With a late start due to the pandemic, amphitheatres will host shows through the middle of the month with a full roster this weekend – in addition to a big arena show, Blake Shelton on Friday night October 1 at Little Caesars Arena. For those who wish to stay in the great outdoors, we also have:

• Rapper Lil Baby’s The Back Outside Tour with Lil Durk, Coi Leray, Rylo Rodriguez and Bankroom Freddie, 8 pm Friday October 1 at DTE Energy Music Theater in Independence Township. Tickets cost $ 39.50 and up.
