Sigur Ros return to Asia.
In an announcement made on April 26, the post-rock band announced that they will be visiting several cities in Asia as part of their 2022 world tour. ‘Hoppipolla’ the act will be executed in Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan.
SINGAPORE
Sigur Rós will perform at The Theater of the Stars on August 17, 2022. Tickets for the concert will be put on presale on April 27 at 10:00 a.m. SGT and general sale on April 29 at 10 SGT Going through SG sistic. Tickets range from 98 SGD for 188 SGD.
This comes as Sigur Rós’ last gig in Singapore, following their shows at Fort Canning in 2016 and 2013.
SOUTH KOREA
Sigur Rós will give his concert in Seoul on August 19. Details on venue and ticket sales will be announced soon, watch this space for updates.
JAPAN
Sigur Rós will give two concerts in Japan, at Zepp Osaka Bayside on August 22 and Tokyo Garden Theater on August 25.
Tickets for the band’s concert in Osaka will go on presale on April 29 and general sale on May 21 at 10:00 JST Going through Zepp Japan. While tickets for their concert in Tokyo will be on presale on April 29 and general sale on May 21 at 10:00 a.m. JST.
THAILAND
Sigur Rós will give his concert in Bangkok on 28 August. Details on venue and ticket sales will be announced soon, watch this space for updates.
As part of their tour, the Icelandic band will also visit cities in Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe. The trio are said to be performing new material as well as hits from their 25-year-old discography.
